    Getting your home builder website found by prospective home buyers is a big challenge in today’s competitive online environment. That’s why it’s important that your website is properly optimized for search.

    Level Homes understands that SEO is important for their business, which is why they contacted Meredith Communications to modernize their website with the goal of improving the SEO rankings for each of their sub-markets. The company has been building high-quality homes in the Baton Rouge LA area for nearly two decades, and in 2013, expanded to the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.

    This is the second website we’ve created for Level Homes. The purpose of this project was to completely revamp the functionality of the Find Your Homes pages. Now, the Louisiana and North Carolina sub-markets each have their own Find Your Homepage with Communities, Available Homes and Home Designs all on one page. This design change gives us the ability to optimize each sub-market page with keywords just for that market and should improve their SEO rankings.

    The website features clear, call-to-action buttons throughout, as well as social media icons, and a prominent link to the new LH Lending website that we launched a couple of months ago. The home page also features testimonials from satisfied homeowners to provide social proof for prospects who are interested in buying a property from Level Homes.

    We gave each market links to its own Testimonials, Photo Gallery and Virtual Tour pages, which can be found under the About Us tab on the main menu. The Photo Gallery features crisp, clear images of the model homes found in the Louisiana and North Carolina markets, to give web visitors an idea of what their future home could look like. The virtual tour pages include a combination of videos and interactive 3D floor plans.

    The website was built using responsive design to optimize display on mobile phones and tablets. In addition to handling Level Homes’ SEO, we are managing their blog and paid search engine marketing through Google AdWords. The new website should help drive more onsite traffic to Level Homes, convert more online visitors to leads, and more internet leads to sales.
